This delightful 1860’s two story building is a centerpiece in copper mining history. It not only provides a depth of history unmatched by other accommodation options in the area, it is also a beautiful place to rest your head whilst visiting Kapunda and the surrounding regions; Clare Valley, Barossa Valley and Adelaide.

Whilst retaining its unique character, the Kapunda School of Mines Accommodation has spacious rooms and lofty ceilings with a feeling of luxury and convenience. With two bedrooms this space can sleep up to four people (adults and children inclusive) and comes with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room and balcony with beautiful views.

Kapunda is perfectly located between two valleys; 10 minutes to Barossa Valley and 30 minutes to Clare Valley. Both of these valleys are renowned wine-producing regions with an array of high profile Wineries. 

Wine Valleys aside, Kapunda itself is the largest mining town in Australia and was established after a discovery in 1842 of significant copper deposits. There are multiple activities and sights to take in with Kapunda as your 'base' for exploring these beautiful regions in South Australia.
